The whole of Maastricht is looking forward to it! As a co-organizer, I am working on the reopening of the beautiful, monumental Bonbonnière, right in the heart of the city. A building with a rich history as a place for culture, theater, and meeting, that can soon regain meaning for Maastricht. The ambition is to create an open and welcoming House for Culture, Knowledge, and Society: a place where residents, creators, students, researchers, and amateur groups meet, where there is space to present and where every Maastrichtian feels at home again.

As an advisor for De Bevelanden, I am contributing to the transformation process of a cultural heart for Goes. I am involved in thinking about the cultural profile of Goes and the cultural infrastructure in the medium and long term: what facilities does the city need, how do existing and new places relate to each other, and what choices ensure that culture is still embedded in the city ten years from now.

As a project manager for Cultuurhuis De Nieuwe Doelen, I am working on developing a future-proof cultural center that will have a broad social and cultural function for Gorinchem and the region. My task focuses on connecting content, organization, finances, and spatial development, and on creating support from the municipality, cultural partners, and other stakeholders.

As a business leader and coordinator, I was responsible for the development and organization of Biënnale Noordwijk. I assembled the production team, conducted communication with artists, the press, and the municipality, and managed the logistics for fourteen works of art throughout the municipality.

As project manager, I was responsible for the exhibition about the electrification of the Dutch railway in 1938, with the restored train set Mat '36 252 as the centerpiece and full coordination of content to execution.

For the municipality of Maashorst, I developed an action plan for greater coherence in the cultural field. As a facilitator, I engaged in discussions with cultural organizations, creators, residents, and the municipality. Together, we explored where the strength of the cultural field lies and where opportunities lie for further development. The vision provides direction for more collaboration, appropriate support, and a strong cultural infrastructure in Maashorst.
